M Sanji Education Awards 2018

21 November 2018 was our 10th year holding our M Sanji Education Awards. This year, we gave out 379 education awards, amounting to $107,700.00, to children of USE members, a 10% compared to 2017.

Jointly funded by the NTUC-U Care Fund, Assistant Secretary Generals of the National Trades Union Congress, Mr. Desmond Choo and Mr. Patrick Tay were the Special Guests for the event which stretched over two sessions. This year, we introduced Bookprize sponsorships so that more union members and their family can benefit from the education awards. We are glad that we have received sponsorship from members of the 13th Executive Council and 4 unionised companies.

We also continued the segment to recognize our supportive management partners which was introduced last year.

We thank them for their support towards our members and hope that we continue the good labour-management relationship for the betterment to our members and security officers. Do check out the photos in the album, and we see you next year!
